Over two decades after the original disaster, a fully operational dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, opens on Isla Nublar, drawing tourists from around the globe. In a bid to boost attendance, scientists create a new hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus rex, whose intelligence and aggression prove uncontrollable. When the creature escapes, chaos erupts across the island, and the park’s staff must risk everything to protect the guests and prevent a mass catastrophe.
