A disgraced former secret service agent, Lucas Reyes, living in exile in Thailand, is offered a chance at redemption by his former handler. His mission: board a flight from Bangkok to San Francisco and identify and protect a mysterious cyber-terrorist known only as "The Ghost." However, the plane is unexpectedly filled with a multitude of highly skilled assassins, all aiming to eliminate both Reyes and his target. As the flight progresses, Reyes must battle his way through the increasingly chaotic and violent confines of the aircraft, discovering the true identity and motives of The Ghost while fighting for his own survival against an endless wave of lethal adversaries. The film descends into a frantic, darkly comedic, and brutally inventive aerial free-for-all, with Reyes utilizing anything and everything at his disposal to stay alive and complete his impossible assignment.
